On again, further to the turbo fault that’s now been tested and turbos all ok. Took it for a run amd it came up with P004B fault Turbo boost control solenoid B. Someone has put me in the direction of the valve on the front cross member. Tested it with a vacuum tester and it wasn’t moving took it off and bench tested with the vacuum tester straight onto the actuator and it moved. There is also the other solenoid on the valve getting a resistance reading on that. With the fault code is it usually the vacuum side or the solenoid?

You really need a scanner that will give you the 2 extra digits ie P004B-xx it will be either -77/-84 or -85 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

No problem I have got a Bosch kts to try on it but freed the valve off first. Just cant believe the amount of oil coming out the pipes
