I fitted a solid coupler to my 4.2 sc sport then promptly replaced it with a genuin part due to excessive noise. Don't fit a solid coupler

Thanks and good to get another opinion against a solid coupler 👍

Interestingly, Powerhouse do sell the solid coupler for the 3.0 SC engine as fitted to Jaguars (basically the same engine?) but not for the 4.2 or 5.0 engines.

Loads available on eBay however Rolling Eyes Jonathan

My solid coupler came from power house in their rebuild kit for the snout.
Others who have fitted the solid couple to different brand cars, same engine have also complained about noise. Lots on the tube about the issue to Thumbs Up
