Scotland 2005 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zambezi Silver
Home link upgrade factory fit standard

Hi guys,

Been out the fold recently,

Got the Rangey a wee while ago, parks in the garage,

So did a bit digging and found that the range rover 2006 onwards home link mirror is a direct fit with any model fitted with auto dimming type mirror from factory.

So got this

Plug and play, just follow home link website instructions for your model of remote gates or garage door.

To program the mirror hold button of choice till light flashes slowly which is learn mode, hold your transmitter fob till the mirror led changes back to fast flash again, then pair the mirror to the receiver on the sytem you want to operate.

Simple

There is a universial home link adapter for any system so you can control it as well, just a adding box for the unit system you have Thumbs Up Current vehicles

I seem to remember that there are some issues with rolling codes etc and it not working with UK spec gates and door.

Will be interested to see how the pairing goes and what does and does not work. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

Hi,

I specifically bought UK Spec mirror which is 433Mhz and post 2006 are rolling code compatible, you program the mirror then match the mirror to the remote system by pairing, you need to pair them twice on the receiver to fully intergrate,

All working on both my cars and access systems.

All I can say bliss Current vehicles

Mines a 2010 AB so perhaps I should have another go at it then - gates and garage from the mirror buttons would be good.

Did you just follow the manual for pairing etc or any tips to pass on? "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

I just had a new garage door fitted yesterday and programmed the car to it without any issues at all following the instructions in the manual. Took about 30 seconds! Thumbs Up
