Definitely brighter than original stock lights.

Shocked I'd hope so, discovered that a bloody candle was brighter than the standard lights Wink

I still find it hard to come to terms with how they managed to get it so wrong with the reversing lights in the first place, after all your allowed 21 Watts per side under euro meddling laws, so why opt for 6 watt bulbs? they must have had a balls up in the purchasing department and ended up with a lorry load to get rid of......... only logical reason I can see Rolling Eyes Maybe they were destined to be instrument lamps but they were so dim they thought they'd get rid of them in the Range Rover, who knows how the German mind works, get a feeling that they were laughing at every under powered car that left the factory Evil or Very Mad But we can have the last laugh, as the led upgrade is way better than anything you'll find on the rear of an X5 Ner Ner Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Was about to order the bulbs but it looks like they (and all other sellers) are from China. How long did it take to get? 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

The bulbs I purchased were from Hong Kong and took two weeks to arrive.
Be careful when ordering, you need the 5 W , 12V DC version. A 12V AC version is also available but to be honest I'm not sure what the difference between the two is and why they shouldn't also work.

Just bought the 5w version (says 6 but it's 5w on eBay). Wanted to go the cob route since I think it will be a bit brighter than the little leds. The entire length of these are 40mm so they should fit fine. Now just need the washers and G4 sockets

I did think of that, but having found that they can get brittle, discoloured and cracked with age, it would be impossible to guaranty the quality, and would therefore be laying myself open to "I want my money back as my lights were better than the ones you've sent".

My own lights are damaged, the top part of the screw fixing broke, making it a U shape rather than a hole, so I have bonded a small penny washer to the light to hold it in. Works well, but probably not acceptable to some. So I came to the conclusion that the only thing to do was use new lights, not a cheap solution, but one that would create less problems with the "quality" issue. Having looked around I can get the cost down to £90 a pair, there just isn't anyone other than Land Rover making these lights, you have to bare in mind that we have "uncommon" cars as far as the reproduction boys are concerned Sad Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
