Hi bushy,

I did the exact experiments with unplugging things and checking fuses and ggot the same results. A new fan fixed it.

To remove the fan it can just about be done by removing the manifo ...

update!

This got worse... and worse.

The fuse would randomly blow. Measuring the resistance to chassis the circuit would vary between 0.5ohms (enough to blow fuse), or 30 ohms. I could put a new ...

The FF gets my vote. If it was a FWD car with winter tyres it would be better IMO. RWD cars just don't work in snow no matter what in my opinion...
