hi they look fine, if like me you were looking for a led similar to a side light, ie it will not stand out in daylight but will look right at night then that will be fine, if you want some thing that can be seen clearly in daylight then you would need the 5xled 360 degree bulb but at night they look so bright they are like dip beam.
that would be to bright for me...

these worked out just right, i didnt want a bulb that was to bright as it lights up the whole rear bumper and they are meant to be number plate lamps, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

daveo, could you elaborate on how you replaced the puddle lights bulbs in the mirrors and what sort of led bulbs were needed. Just bought an LED kit and realised i don't think these lights are part of the kit!!?

hi, thay are not hard but you need to take your time and dont go at it like a bull or you will break the clips, some people say pop out your mirror and then you can access the clips but if you do a mirror you will be so if you flex the rear cover you can get a good idea where the clips are, i have a set of the nylon trim tools,they ave verious ends, i used one of thes to work my way round the clips, or you can park it a few foot away from the curb and some one will take it of for you
once you have it off you can see the holder, the dia of the bulb needs to be no more then 11mm to fit in,length was not a prob, make sure its nice and clean in the holder to get good light,
when done just connect the light up make sure you ave the bulb round the right way and works, clip the back on and away you go, at night you will see the difference for sure.... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Lovely. Sounds a bit like one of those jobs that will end with me breaking something though. Will give popping the mirror glass off a miss i think and try levering off as suggested. I have asked carazy LEDs to replace one of the exterior bulbs in there kit with some that fit the puddle lamps as i don't need any exterior bulbs. Should have in a couple of days.

They have asked me what sort of bulb i need?! Googling suggests i actually meant approach lights ( not puddle) but i think we were talking the same bulb. All i can find is 'capless 6w'

Is this the description i mail or is there a better description. don't want to ask for wrong bulb!!

No just the black plastic D shape end panels. Should give you space to push the lights out from the back.

I found my LEDs on fleabay ( CrazyLED) with all bulbs in one set and all work great with no faults, even the number plate ones. No approach lights in the kit sadly but Im sure the 6W ones will be fine. In total darkness when you unlock the car it looks like an operating theatre in there - fab !!  2006 MY Autobiography. You've applied force around the metallic ring? I've tried to but with no result

I hate to say it, but if you look in your handbook there is a section devoted to the replacement of all vehicle bulbs.

In fact I read that section and it was very useful
but it doesn't say how can you change the bulb in the round lamp  Santorini Black RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8
