IS it different to the ones on the TDV8 then? or is it just a TRW like the rest...... If so they are available from most local motor factors, I got a refurbed trw one for mine from ECP and another from a local factors after the ECP one stuck on again...... the second was refurbed by brake engineering. Still about £60ish.

Are you sure it's not a badly adjusted handbrake after refitting the new discs and pads ? I'd be amazed if the calipers on your 5.0 Supercharged were fooked already.... Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather..... |

I've just spent an hour reading and searching old threads. Lost count of the numbers of people who have had the exact same symptoms, and all turned out to be callipers sticking.

4.4 TDV8 & 5.0 use 6 pot Brembo's up front and a much larger rear calliper than was on the older 3.6 TDV8 or 4.2 |

If they were fine before the new pads were fitted, could that not be the problem? Could the pad be sticking in the calliper in some way? I've had pads rusting in to the slides they sit in, a quick filing and lubing does the trick, but you have new pads so maybe not. Previously..
