Door handle covers, not good !

Just a word of warning for anyone thinking of buying the door handle covers from Powerful. I bought some in Bonatti grey to match body colour and am not really impressed. They're obviously painted in separate batches so when fitted the colours don't match, the small bit is noticeably darker than the large part. Probably makes it look worse now than before they were fitted.
Going to rip them off and paint the original handles.

Another £80 down the drain, why can't they just paint them in pairs? (Might have been £60, too much to waste anyway)

In contrast to your unfortunate experience,I had a set off them around a month ago and couldn't be happier with them,a nice upgrade.

I've had a set on for the last five years and no problems at all. Colour match and finish is still perfect on all doors. Thumbs Up

Would have thought it a bit late after fitting them, not going to come off easily I don't think.

They seem like a good company,I would take a few photos to show up the colour discrepancy and email them.
I'm sure they'll sort out any problems Thumbs Up

I bought stainless steel covers from another supplier. The profile on all of them was different and the sharp steel edge would protrude out to the handle grip. All of them needed trimming and reshaping. One fell off and disappeared soon after fitting. The eBay seller stopped replying to my requests to replace the lost one. So I took the others off. I will be replanting my handles. ______________________________

Looked ok sat on the tailgate, not side by side then though. Went round and put all the small bits on first, then the larger bits, so didn't really notice until I went round with a cloth to wipe them.
Then it was a case of "Damn, look at those".

Just ordered some sill protectors, but guess what, definitely not off Powerful UK.

Rodp - got in touch with powerfuluk on your behalf, this is there reply, has a direct email to the correct person for you, let us know once you have refund or replacment

Thanks Luke
Its me (Sara) that manages the painting, and can assure the gentleman that they are done on jigs in large batches by a professional company that have previously held the painting contract for Land Rover.

I would be more than happy for him to return them, should he want to contact me, and I'll either refund or replace.
Removal won't be an issue if he warms slightly using a hairdryer

I'm not a member on there - please ask him to contact me directly sara@powerfuluk.com and I will assist him.
