I've just fitted some new wall lights, and once the power was on the lights worked, but as I dimmed them the transformers blew. Quick look at the instructions and it says not suitable for dimmers. |

Each light fitting has its own transformer, and has 3 of the small halogen bulbs in it. I don't understand why each one blew when dimmed and the one in the lounge are the same set up and are ok? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

If you have the transformers in the mains voltage supply they are in the primary circuit.

Sounds to me like the transformer's primary connections are the wrong way around. Researching my first Range Rover purchase |

Is there a way to find this out? Or just have a look? They lit with the dimmer turned to full then blew when turned down. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
