I had a similar problem with my drivers seat - it turns out that there is an edging trim that fits on the seat plastic where it rubs the leather - mine was missing it cost a few pence from a dealer and now no squeak. The silicon does work as does stuffing a j-cloth down there but in my case replacing the missing trim was the fix - now blissfully silent. |

I have this at the mo. From the drivers seat. I have the edging strip in place, as above, but the screw head has pulled through the plastic where the plastic side edge trim piece fastens on, so its moving about a bit, causing the noise...........

I was told that if you drive in just a G string smothered in baby oil this will feed the leather and stop any squeaks............................................................2 years later it still hasnt worked! One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

To be honest, I've tried a few different leather cremes over the decades, and I'm back with good old Auto Glym.

Black leather, so god only knows how dirty it is. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Best solution I have found is to rub the edges of the plastic trim which touches the leather with candle wax, no more squeaks |
