If it is the frozen lock, and only if, chances are the others are OK simply because they don't get the frequency of use that the drivers lock gets, which is why it's probably dried up and therefore frozen.

Should you manage to open the door, liberally spray the lock mechanism (not the key hole but the mechanism on the door jamb) with silicone spray or white lithium grease and really try to get it inside as much as possible. And spray the stainless catch on the B-pillar as well just in case the latch freezes (or has frozen) to that.

And, as Stan said, sort your rubbers out. If you don't have any Gummi Pfledge to hand at the time, use silicone spray or some vaseline or just something to lubricate and soften the rubbers to prevent freezing.

The heater suggestion is a solid one. Might be an idea to put it on a timer switch to go on, say, an hour before you need to use the car. That'll give it good time to warm up everything nicely and to soak the heat into the panels and therefore the lock mechanism. Si. <This is my name.

It was indeed frozen. Didn't even need to put warm water on when I got home just now, it worked right away!

I've siliconed the seals, inside the key hole and around the handle. I've also put some spray light white grease into the actual lock mechanism. Will order some Burt Whatzizname Gummi Bear Spray pronto!

same here when wifey's XK convertible stays outside at night - you get frozen door rubbers and you cannot open the door the other day  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!
