Parking sensors inop!

So my parking sensors are not working, get the long beep and flashing light.

Walked around the car listening for the clicks and one off on the front and one off on the back

So my next question, where is the best place to get 2 new sensors from?

Also got the usual rear wiper issue, need a motor! Agasin best place to get one? I did an enquiry on partsgateway and price are crazy!

Cheers all

Richard

Check the looms while the bumpers are off for £18 each they are worth replacing as fail more often than the sensors. Two minute job each end with the bumpers off. Thumbs Up

Hi Winslow, I have a spare brand new, still in packet, sensor (black) which u can have for £20. Gaz's advice ref new loom is good but check you haven't got a tear or kink in the outer sensor wires as this is where they normally tear due to their thing core. Bit of leccy tape did the trick for mine (hence the unused sensor)

Ref the rear wiper motor, look at RRUKs excellent post on how to take off, clean and get it working again. I have done this to both my RRs and not had a problem with them since. It's normally just a build up of cr@p inside due to the poor design. Should take less than an hour to do.

As above the rear is £18 from Dan and £20 at most other LR Parts (local)

The front will be similar money. Thumbs Up

REAR PART NO: LYMD001992 (Number on invoice but looks odd)
