Afternoon all. A month or so back I had a burst front suspension airbag, (2006 FFRR Jag-engine petrol) so I replaced both the front bags with brand-new Delphi items.

I noticed the other day that the car sits slightly lower on the nearside than on the offside, by about an inch (compared by putting my hand between the tyre and the arch). This was on level flat ground, and immediately after driving the car (ie suspension all pumped up).

I guess it could be a leak, but if it were then I'd expect it to get lower and lower on that side (say overnight) but it doesn't.

Could it be that I need something reset and need a plug-in to do this? Or is there another explanation and/or cure?

i'd try going to the off-road setting and back down to access afew times to see if it settles, other than that get a IIDTool and manually adjust the height.. ... - .- -.

Replacing bags shouldnt affect hieght in normal running unless your disturbed the height level sensors.

Could be worth a quick indy diag as they often only charge about £2-30 for the service as its 10minutes with the right tool  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Stan, I change the height regularly (Offroad hieight when I park in the supermarket, saves door dings, and access height for when the old man is in the car or for the dog, she's getting on a bit and doesn't like the jump!) - anyway,so the car has been raised and lowered plenty of times.

Will - where are the height sensors located? Easy to see/check? I won;t be able to look until Friday now anyway but will check that. If not then it's a trip to a diag tool I guess, the indy guy near me charges £48 for that but he's pretty good

Should look like little black or white boxes IIRC about 1*1*1" and have a small rod on them connecting to each suspension arm. Would look strange to anyone who hasn't dealt with a non-normally sprung car, like a small sensor pack and push rod attached
