Thanks Dave - I plan to have a good look around today to see if I can work it out. I may well start by using the old pump to see if it all works and them work out if I can swap out for the new pump.

Glad I found this thread - I'm just finishing off my 2006 conversion and have replaced the washer bottle and pumps with the new ones including the high pressure one - transferred over the connectors. Windscreen wash is fine - rear wash is fine but nothing on the headlamps. I will go and jump the wires mentioned a few posts back and see what happens. Ok so I have followed the above directions and have bridged the outer two wires on the four way plug. First time you start the car and wash the windscreen I see a blast from the headlight washers however after that I don't seem to get them to come back on again unless I restart.

Others can chip in here but I think I asked the exact same question. there is also a time delay on this so it will only work again after 3 (??) minutes or something like that and again only on the sixth press?
