Scotland 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

I am not sure if it is 'safe' to wire the cornering lamps up to come on with fogs/ side lights or dipped beams like some have suggested. I am sure I read somewhere that there have been incidences of lamp units being damaged by heat from the cornering lamps if they have been on for a longer than 'normal' time 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

dont run the halogen lamps in the cornering lights they will burn the reflector, will be ok if you change them for led's, with the headlamp washers i will have to check the colours but they were the ones in an old pm to me, may be graig from cam tech might have the colours V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

One washer plug has 3 wires the other has 4 its the plug with 4 wires you need
You need to connect the black with yellow stripe to the black with brown stripe..

You should have a solid brown and a grey with red stripe leave these two alone. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Because the facelift does not have wipers - it's jets now with no room on the bumper for the wipers. Ash

Hi Craig - Wasn't suggesting you didn't know but still not sure of your answer re wiper motors (Unless you mean just the motors and attach them out of the way inside the engine bay..!!)

Sorry if I'm being thick! Ash

Big Cry

Still can't get it to work. Connected the correct wires and pulled the stalk numerous times and then tried the button numerous times but nothing.

Any clues?

Does anyone know what plug goes to what pump (colour wise)

I have the new high power pump wired to the plug bypassing the old pump and pipe work wise- old pump plumbed in feeding new pump then on to the headlight washer feed.

I guess I'll have to pull out the washer bottle again and start again! Ash

i will have to have a look at my one, its covered in heat shrink so i will cut it back and see, you could always jump the connection from the windscreen pump, just means it will squirt with the windscreen washers but will work the same.. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Thanks Dave,

Whilst you're in there, could you see if you can spot the colour wires going to the 3 pumps. I took all the wires off to get the bottle out to see if the new pump would fit but it doesn't. I may have put the plugs back on the wrong pumps push the stalk and the rear still squirts, pull the stalk and the windscreen pumps. The button on the stalk also pumps the windscreen and not sure it that is correct.

Cheers

The only reason I;m worrying is the MOT is due end o f the month so need to get it working by then.! Ash

Ash, you only need to plug your motors back in behind the panels as the motors make the pump work...

Also to note you asked in a previous post why your windscreen washers work either by pulling the right lever or pressing the end button?... The button on the end is to wash your windscreen whilst your rear wiper is switched on Thumbs Up

Can anyone confirm if I need to use this bracket for the bumper please on the retrofit conversion.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-FENDE...7675.l2557

Not sure how it attaches but will have a look - Just wonder if it was a left over from the previous owners 2010 upgrade and not needed for a 2004 car.

Thanks Ash
