Wee dash bulbs

Got some spare time and the new dash pixel and ribbon so thought I would get the instrument cluster out and on the bench. Half way through the job I realise that it's not just the pixels needing replaced but most of the 5 of these wee bulbs are part of the problem.

The glass part doesn't come out. Does anyone know if you can get this from the local car spare shop or is it a LR part that needs to be ordered from say Dan.

At least I can put the cluster back together, just not back in the dash.

That bulb looks like the 286 bulb, any auto car shop should have the bulb, they only pushed in to the housing....well they are on D1 and LC cruiser 80 I had. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Yes, thats what I thought but they dont come apart, the filament wires are soldered to the terminals which are fixed into the plastic housing.

Look the same as the dash light for a Ford Ka (for which you have to dismantle a good half of the dashboard to get at!) It should come as an all in one with the fitting complete... .
