Mine have not arrived yet but need to sort original remotes first.

Are the keys easy to sync? and is the procedure the same for all years.

Can a normal key place cut the blades from the originals or do I need to find someone with special equipment? There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Not in it, but after neglecting it for 4 months, spent three hours washing the outsides:

1. Rinse then spray lower half with Cyclone Traffic Film Remover
2. Rinse
3. With spray and soft brush, remove all dirt from lower half
4. Detail all over with wash and wax (Malco Ultra Violet)
5. Detail wheels (Cyclone and Ultra Violet) - but need some Malco Brake Off
6. Rinse
7. Full wash and wax all over with sponge and two buckets to finish

Then it rained, so maybe some bead porn photos later Wink .

Brake fluid change - certainly looked overdue from the fluid that came out and feels much better...

Finally sorted out knock on front suspension that everyone thought was on the offside.
Was nearside ARB droplink that was only 12 months old tiny amount of play making a big noise!
Thats after changing both lower arms, inner trackrod and offside ARB link. Mine was a blue one! Smile

Went and did what a Range Rover's supposed to do up in the Lake District - general consensus was the FF was immensely capable off-road (in total there were 5 other Defender's out and myself split across two groups from another forum).

Unfortunately had a slight mishap on a sub 1k tyre (as in miles)... Big Cry

There were a few bottom clenching moments, not on the actual lanes but ironically getting over a couple of bridges and through gates where the FF definitely lived up to it's name!

Certainly a different style of driving compared to the 110, heavier foot required to convince the traction control to actually do something. We came across a beached Shogun on one lane which the Defender leading the group pull out and the driver looked a bit peeved when the FF went straight up with no drama. Video to follow hopefully when my passenger for the day uploads it to the other forum.
