a) erm... took the passenger seat out for something yesterday, and the airbag light won't go out... Got a BMW lead and an OBD2 lead - is there any free software I can use to reset it? I tried disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes to see if it would reset, but it didn't

The light has come on because of the seatbelt pre tensioner being unplugged (when you disconnected the harness from the seat) for anyone else doing this job at home... Disconnect the battery first then ONLY reconnect it when the seat harness is reattached

I know that won't assist you THIS TIME sir but may help others reading this thread...

I had to register navcoder to get it to do anything but read things.

Could have changed now though, as that was over 2 years ago.......

If you shell out for an OBDII bluetooth reader and have an android phone you could try "Torque Pro". Not sure if it will handle all LR specific fault codes though.

Maybe you have someone with All Comms in your area who can help? .
