L322 gaff (plea for help) &weirdness (plea for explanati

a) erm... took the passenger seat out for something yesterday, and the airbag light won't go out... Got a BMW lead and an OBD2 lead - is there any free software I can use to reset it? I tried disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes to see if it would reset, but it didn't

That leads on to part b)

When I reconnected the battery after 15 minutes I didn't have to re-enter the radio code! Why? Tym

If it sticks, force it. If it breaks, it needs replacing anyway.

The light has come on because of the seatbelt pre tensioner being unplugged (when you disconnected the harness from the seat) for anyone else doing this job at home... Disconnect the battery first then ONLY reconnect it when the seat harness is reattached Thumbs Up

I know that won't assist you THIS TIME sir but may help others reading this thread... Thumbs Up

I had to register navcoder to get it to do anything but read things.

Could have changed now though, as that was over 2 years ago.......

Navcoder still needs to be registered & paid for. ( I know 'cos I had to move it to another laptop, and Jochen is still keeping a tight rein on things, even though he did my transfer for free!)

@tymh

If you shell out for an OBDII bluetooth reader and have an android phone you could try "Torque Pro". Not sure if it will handle all LR specific fault codes though.

Maybe you have someone with All Comms in your area who can help? .

NavCoder is only 20 Euros if the IID won't work. Tym
