The top is sand leather, I'm trying to get it off the plastic bit. |

Thanks Craig, does the top cover come off on its own or does it come off with the plastic tray attached? Does the gas strut undo at the top or bottom? |

Take the torx screws out (under the lid) and when all removed lever the lid apart gently and it should pop off leaving you a view of the gas strut end sir |

Thanks, I took all the torx out but one corner seems to be stuck and I was bothered about breaking something if there was something else holding it on. |

There are seven torch screws sir one is hard to see under the gas strutt |
