Finally got everything back together. After dropping a nut and having to take the alternator out again I think I have the knack for it now.

Took off the (Nokian) winter wheels/tyres and put the summer (AT²) back on. A bit late, maybe, but I’ve been away for 4 weeks … Gosh, I’d forgotten how heavy the wheels and tyres are! Or maybe it’s just me getting old. Older.

Swapped the front nearside door lock, it's been lazy and throwing up a fault for ages and I hadn't got round to it, then read what Craig said a few days ago about the fact that if it fails in the dead locked position you have to wreck the door to get it open, and thought I better pull my finger out.... 15mins job done, now nice and fast like the rest of them....

1st major job done by myself ( with only minimal help from my personal mechanic aka brother in law ) changed front air bags and shocks on my new L322. 8 days in and £1000 extra spent. £500 for new removeable tow bar, £400 shocks, £100 icarsoft diagnostics.
