Well it was yesterday, but not far off! Towed my offroad buggy up to Aldermaston for a Trial, did a steady 16mpg all the way and barely noticed it was on the back.

Starting on Friday. Took car in for DOE ( commercial MOT ) and even after passing all tests , failed on rear pads being too low. Saturday did a 470 km round trip for a business meeting for power tools and petrol power washers ( deals to follow ) and today passed DOE Pads were worn at the edge only , where the disc has corrosion Pads had thousands of miles left

Towed the horse box for the first time with the supercharged. Effortless. So much better than the freelander and 4.4 v8 I had before it. respectable 14.5 to the gallon too. V8 or else ... |

I changed the batteries in the venture cam. All I have to do now is try to find a use for it. |

14.5 mpg in an SC, with a 'box on the back!? Blimey!! Best I can get in our 4.4 petrol is 14mpg with one horse and about 12.5mpg with two (and that's motorway most of the way at a steady 55 mph, lesser roads get down to less than 12mpg). 'Box is an Ifor Williams HB511, horses are full size. What are you towing? Drives: 2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue - Stornoway Grey 2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue SE - Zermatt Silver 1998 BMW E36 M3 GTII |
