Still got the original fault code too, 95- interior security fuse or cable, not related you don't think?

i can't find online what that relates to but checked all fuses that state immobiliser central locking and anti theft system in passenger glove box all fine

I had flip key off Daveo, called him and he went through it on the phone with me whilst doing the job, all worked a treat, give him a call.

dave sent me a new chip to try and sync, still no joy

i think after changing battery my car is in transport mode (BCM) even though everything works int lights wipers etc, I've seen another thread on here some years ago where somebody else lost ability of remote unlock/lock after a battery change and all of his car was working apart from the fob, after he cleared transport mode with allcomms he could sync the key again.

Question : Can i do anything about transport mode with IID tool, or reset BCM at all?

i have IID but not allcomms.


EDIT - found transport mode on IID and turned it off just in case it was on, still no joy

Is there more than one receiver for the key fob? i hear people saying to hold the key top right near door pillar but my receiver is actually in the rear spoiler at the back of the car near the wiper motor...

OK i replaced my BECM for a second hand working unit, everything is the same all working apart from key fob, and won't program in obviously. I have tried my old fob, new flip fob, and spare board dave sent me which is confirmed working.


I am now going to order a replacement amplifier unit which goes under rear spoiler to see if that is knackered.

apart from that is there anything else anyone can suggest as to why no key will program into my car?

Ok so i put my old BCU back in, and got my new amplifier unit under spoiler fitted today , still no joy

i then plugged in my IID tool and decided for some reason to reset CAR CONFIG to default.

tried the key sync a couple more times, didn't work first of all, but second time VOILA!! it synced.

Granted its my old NON flip key, but its working. So for now I'm sticking with the old style key as i don't dare to touch it again.

God knows what the problem was....but after a new bcu and amplifier, not even anymore on the car its working.

As to the reason, read the badge on the back that says who made the vehicle, then all will become clear....  Pete
