sadly the HD system isn't a straight swap as the car has a different wiring loom for the HD system with different connectors.

Interested in this as I'm somewhat underwhelmed by the quality of my standard 'Premium' system.

Does the HD version have more controls? Mine seems to only have bass, treble, subwoofer (which doesn't seem to do much) and the logic 7 button and fader stuff. It's so underwhelming that I'm wondering if some of my speakers have blown. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

Make sure Logic 7 is OFF....ie not orange....

Weirdly some things sound better with it on.

I think there must be a speaker problem. There’s far too much mid range and no detail. Will have to experiment. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

Logic 7 is really meant for surround sound sources.....

With it on, I hardly got any sound from the lower speakers and it seemed to be centred around the bottom of the windscreen.

With it off, sound is much better, but nothing really from speakers high up near the rear tailgate glass, as they are pretty much used for surrounds.

Not sure I’d want the surround sound on for Peppa pig.... though of the sound of Daddy pig behind me is too creepy There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Disappointed yesterday to find that Peppa Pig won't play. Just got 'Disc Error'. Will have to try some other disks. I'm not sure the DVD player has ever been used.

On the plus side, I've played with the settings and concluded that the stereo actually sounds pretty good now. Very impressed with the ipod integration. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE
