These fault codes are to be expected and present no real impact on operation, according to GAP. .

Wife has the Beast today. If anyone can bring out a probably in a car it's her. I'll check codes again.

The low headlight ignition faults are back. Any clue what can cause this?

I have the same problem and a flickering dip beam just started. Did you ever find out the cause of your problem? Eddie the eagle watch out 👀

No. Probably put there intentionally so the British electrical gods don't think we have outgrown them. All hail Lucas.

So the wife went to work and said the turn signals stopped working. Right and left. I go check it out to find signals not working but flashers were. No sound but they would flash. The first disturbing part was I couldn't find a fuse to check. Couldn't find it in RAVE either. So we switched cars. On the way home I tried the left signal. Nothing then 10 seconds later, with the switch off, it comes on and wouldn't shut off. Then it did. Same with the flashers. Then the seatbelt warning came on. Then off. Then the Air suspension inactive warning. Then off. Finally I noticed the infotainment screen was off and the system wouldn't come on. A few months ago I did the $7 amp bypass on the BM54 and fixed it. Lots of hum from poor grounding but at least I could change my settings.
I first suspected water in the system due to monsoon like rain for 4 days but everything in the boot was dry. I pulled the stereo fuse for fear of another battery drain and rechecked the signals and hazards. Both back to normal.
Anyone know if a screwy BM54 can cause havoc elsewhere in the electronics? Thanks

So I have had very similar symptoms on my 2005 L322

The signals in the dashboard for the side flashers sometimes do not work and there is no sound (clicking sound), even though outside the actual flashers are working on the outside of the truck.

It's like the dashboard doesn't even know that the side flashers have been activated. Then some minutes later a while after I made the turn and used the turn indicators, the dashboard indicator for the direction I chose earlier starts clicking away even though it's been minutes since it was selected - and no flashing is happening outside (since neither right nor left is selected when this happens)

When stopping the car and shutting it off, the headlights and rear lights do not turn off. Quite annoying.

But what always, always happens at the same time is that the head unit (main infotainment screen) becomes unresponsive. The orange light is not blinking, it is will be absolutely frozen. Either frozen off, on or in between.

To solve this (temporarily) remove fuse 14 in the glove box and put it back in. This restarts the infotainment head unit, and everything else starts behaving as well. Until it happens again sometime later.

I have no idea what is causing this.
