United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

Applied more sikaflex to drivers side inlet manifold today. After probably 6k relativaly trouble free miles apart from a precautionary battery change due to baby being due... saturday evening rushing the other half to hospital in labour a sudden 'bong' and engine system fault ... calmly pulled over and restarted engine and all appeared normal until hitting 2500 rpm then a noticeable loss of power under load so used the gearbox in manual to keep the engine under minimal load and managed to limp half an hour to the hospital! Dont know what was more scary, birth of my first child or how much the repair would be! Baby boy born 1.56am nice and healthy 7lb 10z and then checking the manifold finding the crack and the relief! Funny thing is i have a new manifold ready to fit since last time just havent got around to fitting it!! 2004 td6 l322 - gone

Replaced the driverd side inlet manifold due cracking. Cant complain done over 6k with sikaflex holding it together! Only real issue was getting the injector pipes off, the union wouldnt come off 3 off the injectors so had to pull it out with the pipe on on three off the 4 injectors. 5 hours later with plenty of tea breaks wasnt too bad! Also changed a glowplug whilst i was in there, had 8 but didnt see the need to replace 7 working ones as it isnt a big job to change at a later date 2004 td6 l322 - gone

2nd MOT since I've owned my FF - passed with 2 advisories, oil leak and cv boot so well chuffed, also happy to see mileage (my readout is unreadable) - 04 reg now showing just over 85k and, according to the exhaust readout, the engine is running as new emission wise Very Happy

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Aruba

Looked at the very, very dirty fatty after I'd gotten out of bed at silly o' clock (day off) to take madams SL in for a horrendously expensive service at the main stealer whilst she snoozed on. To be fair she didn't get in from work until 2000hrs, after leaving the house at 0630. Now about to hit the M4 and anticipate the joys of the south circular at the end...….. Fitted a new gear lever surround, now have a Hill Descend switch... and it works. Very Happy

Tried out the IID BF tool from Dan, it works, cleared all the existing faults and now only have to sort out a broken passenger side heated mirror.

Also enabled the Park heat function...just now need to get the fbh to work Wink 'Weginald the Wange Wover"
