In out steering wheel motor

Could anyone point me to the how to pictures for fixing the in out motor problem. Steering wheel stuck all the way in today motor runs but steering wheel not moving at all. Was a bit intermittent before but today just jammed in. I have searched but just keep coming up with the up down fixes.
Thanks in advance.

sorry don't have any photos but if you take the cowling off under the steering wheel I suspect you'll find two bits of white plastic fall on the floor. That means the spindle clip has snapped and therefore the drive spindle has become detached. If you hunt around at the back of the steering column / top of carpet etc you should also find a square threaded bolt - thats the spindle. You'll need a new clip - unfortunately its about £40 (i'll have to look for part number but I'll post later) and that clips the spindle back into the motor and steering column and thats your most likely problem.

Hope that helps Current Fleet:-

I thought someone (from Germany?) used to sell that part on EBay, maybe a metal version?
