United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

I've tried it in Edge, Chrome and Firefox, and get the same problem in all of them. I could see the SOTA button last time I looked in April, but not now. It was already ticked as active for my car, but I still cannot get SOTA.

Finally my SOTA has been completed. It would not work via the screens ( as it should ) so had to go into the Stealership.

2days and a morning later it is now downloaded.

To be honest, I still don’t understand why, but the Stealership had to contact LR direct and then between them finally got it to download with various “modules” corrected and installed Question Question Shocked

Thank you to Q86ARR for your help earlier. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

By all accounts, no one is able to use SOTA at the moment as there is a problem Whistle Whistle , but I had to correct the Stealership when I mentioned I know for a fact that there are people on this forum that have done it already !!!!

I still haven't got access, but like most others, Q86ARR has been brilliant and used his access to enable the updates - I am now on 19A4 (the latest) thanks to his efforts. It seems that once an update is enabled, SOTA works fine, although I get the impression that each update needs a new permission, which is daft!

As a general comment, maybe the way forward is for everyone to contact their local dealer and demand they go online to enable updates for their car.

This very thing was discussed on the iPace forum in May, the reply a Norwegian member had from JLR was "In regards to SOTA, JLR does not push out updates to all vehicles. Currently, this is done on a per-vehicle basis by the dealer." - from our collective experience it does not seem to have moved beyond this.

I do seem to remember finding a JLR document about the SOTA process and it also implied that SOTA would be enabled on a per vehicle basis for each update, unfortunately I didn't copy the document at the time and can no longer find it.

Regarding the SOTA slider previously seen on Topix, it seems that this has been removed for anything other than dealer level access.

Again many many thanks to Q86ARR for helping myself and other forum members with this.

Agree Q86ARR has been an absolute star for helping us all. The LR garages have no clue.

So what does 19A4 provide? Is it just bug fixes? 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

For Landrover, just one bug fix but quite a critical one if you are using your phone with CarPlay enabled:

The annoying thing with SOTA updates is it seems it isn’t automatic and the updates have to be manually applied. 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel
