Stan enjoy your trip, but do try and find time to visit Amboise... it’s a little gem of a place.... we’ve called many times and always enjoy.

Blois is on your Saumur, Tours, Nantes axis. If you don't have time to fit it in it is worth passing along the opposite, i.e. south, side of the Loire. I think it is a most attractive view.

Have just been thinking myself that a drive to France In my new rr would be interesting. (Haven't driven there for years). Tours for Champaign sounded good.

I read on here so many reports of RR unreliability so far I've been to scared to take my RR abroad, am I overreacting - a trip to France would be nice.
