Hi, Does anyone know if there is a diesel version of this bulletin yet? I've looked everywhere and can't find it Big Cry I have the exact same issue...really strong smell of exhaust fumes blowing right in my face when the engine is idling at traffic lights etc, its made me feel sick a couple of times and very sore throat after driving it. I'm quite worried as I drive my young children in the car. ARE LR POISONING US??!! I've shown the garage LTB00556 but they say this isnt applicable to my car as it isn't petrol and there are no fault codes stored so they don't know where to start diagnosing it....grrrrr Sad It seems like lots of diesel owners have the same issue so why would LR issue a bulletin to get the petrol fixed but not the diesel?

@Dr Rob

Rob, actually petrols can have an FBH - my other rangie, a 2004 4.4L V8 petrol autobiography had it fitted as an optional extra. It is bloody good too. It is one feature that I think all ranges should have as standard.

Not sure if the newer 5.0L petrols have it avaaible now tho.

It’s probably the EGR cooler leaking and it’s sits behind the engine. Mine went the same way with loads of fumes in the cabin

Am curious - did jp0580 get a diagnosis & solution - was it the EGR valve?
I’ve got the same problem - seems to be instigated by a short stop at idle & then
having pulled away a smack of fumes into the cabin, any assistance, gratefully received.
