I’ve never used them but I do have the snow chain/socks things from JLR... Will they suffice ? |

I’ve been to Norway several times in winter in a P38 and D4 on winter tyres and had no issues. Admittedly most roads were ploughed and gritted, but further north there were plenty of untreated roads covered in snow and both cars coped exceptionally well.

No legal obligation in Switzerland for winter tyres or snow chains but there is a caveat that the vehicle should be equipped for prevailing conditions.

This is looking seriously nice now. Is it my imagination, or have you fitted the later wipers to it??? Regards,

Ahh yes sir you are correct! I fitted the appropriate arms when i changed the bonnet! I was unsure if the old style wiper arms would still work (wouldn't foul the new bonnet shape) so i changed all three (F & R)...
