I have often wondered about that Stan. First noticed it when one of the kids had a fiddle and my blowers started howling at me . I did ask the question sometime ago about why the rear temps move up and down together in unison, yet it has the 4 zone option? Apart from "is the Sync on" response which it wasn't/isn't. The rear has to be the same temp on the O/S and N/S. Kind of figured i had a gremlin and left it at that. |

Are you sure its definitely 4 zone, if it is you will have a heater box in the N/S/R wing, fan, heater radiator the whole works, which works independent of the system in the front, with both sides able to do different temps. I Found this out by accident when I had a new key programmed to the KVM, the auto electrician almost had kittens when he saw it, said he'd done a few FF's but not seen one of these. I removed the ducting so he could get access and remove the module. |

Dave, i've established that if sync is off ,the temps can be different rear and front but its the fan which is a pain as I and Gary have found when the rear passenger turns the knob and the front fan does the same..

Tried mine today Stan, the rear heater is totally seperate from the front both temp and fan speed, if I put the rear fans on full, the front stay the same. However, if I hit the synch button, everything is controlled by the front controls, the rear fan speed control is disabled. And yes it does have grab handles above the doors, but i thought they all did. |
