Australia 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Java Black

I put a cheap fleabay monitor in the tray ahead of the gear lever on my 2003. The rubber and plastic is ~1.2mm thick and there is just empty space under the tray so easily cut with a craft knife.
Power from the always on clock can just be pushed down when the clock panel is pulled out (see wiki for how-to). Installing a disconnect plug/socket and in-line fuse recommended.

If I was doing it again I would fit it close to the instruments end instead of close to the gear lever end. As little coins, etc left in the tray migrate forward under braking I've decided that its in the best position so ignore this bit.

This unit has a micro switch that cycles between Volts, % and OFF. The current draw is in micro amps so I leave it on at Volts.

bye 2003 TD6, EGR delete, vortex crankcase breather update, performance chip, UHF 2 way, Android head unit, crash camera on dash, always-on rear view camera to mirror screen, LED DRL`s, Electric trailer brake controller. FSR replaced. Pulling 3T caravan all about Australia

Can you help me out here? I cannot find where the instructions on removing a 2011 clock panel are in Wiki or anywhere else on the forum. Sorry if my searching skills are not to snuff! 2010 Range Rover TDV8 Baltic Blue Autobiography (2011 MY) - SOLD Sad

England 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

The clock panel is removed by tugging firmly at each end toward you but only, once the side wood trim panels have been also tugged towards, the door to give clearance, there is a screw in the foot well on each side wood panel but it can be left in situ, merely swivel the side trims downward once tugged free, then tug out the top switch panel first then the lower clock panel.. 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

I used to be indecisive and have a split personality... but we are ok now...I think?

I added this, voltmeter for £5off ebay, situated nicely on the flat area to the left of the instrument cluster, doesn't photo well, appears to show 4.1v due to flickering effect on cam, actually 14.1engine running.. 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

Had mine out at the weekend. As said, the side panels just pull off but, in mine, 2008, there were four screws that had to be removed. Two for the HVAC panel and two for the clock panel. They are quite obvious.

There are two plastic lugs on the clock panel which go up under the HVAC panel and, to avoid damaging them, remove the HVAC panel first.

With the screws removed the panels just pull out from their clips.

PS. Unless I removed more screws than needed. Which wouldn't be a first. Embarassed Smile John

Many thanks all Thumbs Up - Job done and voltmeter in and working. Mr. Green

For reference on my 2011 MY there were 2x screws about 1/3 way down the side of the clock panel (accessible once the wood trim move out of the way) and two more under a thin trim panel directly below the clock panel, that had to be removed in order to release the clock panel. 2010 Range Rover TDV8 Baltic Blue Autobiography (2011 MY) - SOLD Sad
