It would appear that you need to have the dpf cleaned off the car. In UK, for example, my daughter had a local independent, who had the equipment, clean the dpf from her car. IIRC they had the car overnight.

I did a quick search on "nettoyage dpf" which came up with a number of hits.

One was Deutz who appear to have a concessionaire in Limoges. Possibly too far from you but there will be others who may be nearer you. I don't know where you are in Dordogne. We are in the north, Mialet.

Car is not with me, so cannot read levels.
Yes I do have iid tool, and my guy has his own equipment that he can read levels from.

Might be your guy does not have the right machine to clear the red warning.

A couple of notes:

As mentioned you do need to meet some criteria, eg
- More than 1/4 tank of fuel.
- Oil dilution is also one to watch.
- You should run at 50MPH on cruise control. No need for revs.

You also need to monitor the process with your IID tool, watching the exhaust gas temps rise - it should go up in steps above 400 degrees, 500 then 600 range. At each step the ECU looks for steady speed before moving up the temp.

Once the fickle ECD is all happy you'll reach at 630-650 degrees and it will take around 15-20 mins. While it's cooking at that temp you can watch the soot level come down as you drive.

Without the IIDTool monitoring it is pretty hopeless, you are flying blind. Here is my DPF view set up, you can see the three valid temps. My soot level here is high 18.7g and as a result the DPF volts is 1.0. The highest temp is 620 degrees so the regeneration was starting. At then end it would be reading 5g soot and 0.7v



You can also see my revs are very low and also speed is under 40mph. But 50mph is what the manual says.

Also in your case the volts reading of the DPF at this stage will not matter - your DPF is full and will probably read over 1.0 volts. All that says it it is blocked and needs clearing to get it to normal range which is around 0.7v or 0.8v at idle / low rpm.

Update;
Collected car today...all good again.
As I said before We changed the 4 short hoses, cleaned all the horrible gunk out, and put fresh oil in
They had to force a regeneration on the DPF, but it is now sorted, also put some special 2 part cleaner in the tank (this is meant to clean the DPF)
My guy told me to buy a petrol! As these things don’t like short trips at relatively slow speeds, they don’t tell you that on the sales brochure😩
Anyway from now on l will monitor the soot levels in the DPF, and will try to take it for a decent run when the levels are getting a bit high.
So my question is, at what percentage would you expect it to start a regeneration?

I have been monitoring my DPF soot levels for several years now.
I do a lot of fairly short trips, but usually also one trip a month at least of over 60 motorway miles.
As soon as the soot level gets to 17g I arrange a trip and monitor the readings .
Regens start at about 17.5 to 18g at 50-60mph, but definitely work best when on cruise control or with a very steady throttle setting.
By careful DPF management Ihave never had a DPF warning alarm (fingers crossed, this will continue when we get out of lockdown)

I usually need one regen per full tank of fuel. ( c400- 425 miles)

Ok....story so far;
I collected the car, and read the soot level, it was at 6g, after a couple of shortish trips to the shops it was at 10.1g.
So decided to take it out for a decent run yesterday, done about 140 miles, mixture of rural, main roads and 20miles of motorway. Rigged up the iPad on passenger seat to see what was happening, soot levels steadily rose as I drove, when I got to the motorway, it was at 13.2, after I left to return home it had dropped to 12.6, and by the time I arrived home it was at 13.7g.
Question....does this seem normal to you guys, or do you think that I still have an underlying problem.
Do they seem to get to a level, and just fluctuate slightly, or just keep getting fuller and fuller?

Had the car for over a year doing the same sort of trips, and never had a problem

Forgot to mention I was monitoring the exhaust temperatures, they never went above 365’
So obviously with that soot level, it was not needing a regeneration.

My understanding is it doesn’t just fill then empty. It does all sets of weird things to keep it low depending on a range of factors.

The more you monitor the live value readings, the more you see it going up and down doing passive regens well before you reach the 17.5- 18g active regen threshold. Soot levels can drop quite dramatically with temps in the 350c range.,

It will do a maintenance burn, if enough fuel, and driven to meet parameters.

Temp around 400-odd degrees indicate this is happening.
