| Weegie Member Since: 09 Jun 2014 Location: East Sussex Posts: 3277      | It would appear that you need to have the dpf cleaned off the car.  In UK, for example, my daughter had a local independent, who had the equipment, clean the dpf from her car.  IIRC they had the car overnight.

Soot levels can drop quite dramatically with temps in the 350c range.,
