Put genuine LR rear mud flaps on.

That top bolt going through sideways is an absolute swine!

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

Removed the drivers seat valance to repair a couple of cracks.

A previous owner had beaten me to it and decided that a large headed torx screw would do for the rear (making it very difficult to remove) and Araldite would replace all the clips!

Have asked Rob at Duckworths for a price for a new one before deciding what to do as the damage is quite bad. Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006

Drove it home, via the office, from the dealers where I’d dropped it off in February.

Ordered new front rotors N pads from MTEC Brakes. £110 delivered which is cheap for 360mm discs. Usually go for Textar, but MTEC being UK (Norn Iron) made, I thought I'd give them a go. Very Happy

Replaced the 3 cables that make up the bonnet release mechanism after the head of the cable snapped near to the bonnet release lever.

Luckily we were still able to release the bonnet by pulling the snapped cable with a pair of pliers. The job took just over an hour and the genuine Land Rover cables cost £42 all in.

It was a good opportunity to give some of the components a good clean up and lub as well as rust proofing hidden areas. The cables that were removed were all marked 2005 so they have lasted for 15 years.

Washed all the brick and cement dust from next doors building works off the fatty then a quick polish before putting her into the garage for a bit of protection while I cleaned my other cars down. Couldn’t resist a few reflection shots indoors. For a 15 year old the old girl buffs up well.

Put in 2 bottles of Liqui Moly 5156 diesel system and injector cleaner then topped up with Shell V Power diesel.

It only cost £130 for the V Power...............😱
