It could possibly be the servotronic valve on the rack is playing up, or may need a refresh of the power steering fluid, or a new pump.

Cheers mate. Soon as your moving it becomes pretty heavy even at 5mph so I'll give that servotronic valve a try. These easy to change or best left too a garage? |

Try putting a separate 12v feed to the servotronic valve after disconnecting the normal loom connector (its best done with another connector as the pins are too fine to resist any misalignment).

Bcm was changed a few months ago now. Had the same problem before it being changed |
