United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue
4.2 Supercharged Spark Plugs

I don't have the owners manual to hand for my car, unfortunately, it's at my folks, along with the car.

Does anybody know what spark plugs go in a 2007 Supercharged L322.

I did mine yesterday so I can confirm - I got mine from duckworths ended up being the same as euro but delivered... if you are punching over 120k I’d do your coils too... I had a little lumpy idle when cold and this cured all that... if everything is ok then maybe leave for now Current stable:

Thanks for the heads up.

I’ve bought a car that’s got a misfire on it on one cylinder. Normally I’d be thinking a plug or a coil but the car has LPG fitted to it. It’s got flashlube installed but I’m expecting the worst in that the valve seats will need doing.

I’ve got my IID tool so am going to order a set of plugs as I’ll need these regardless of the fault, I’ll swap the coils around and see if the fault moves, if it doesn’t, I’ll do a compression test, and see where we go from there. I’d not refit old plugs if I’m stripping it down to do the valves so I’ll need these regardless anyway.

The car was cheap enough that I’m happy to be taking a gamble. Just need to wait for it to arrive now. Thanks to Nicola I’m not meant to be travelling south of the border so I’m waiting for it to be delivered.

Yep. Missing on Petrol and LPG.

It was diagnosed as a misfire on one cylinder after it was on diagnostics but the specialist it was at wouldn’t touch it due to the LPG. The other garage that saw the car told the owner it was likely going to be valve seat recession and would cost him circa 4 grand which he wasn’t prepared to spend so no further investigation other then the fault codes has been done.

Tbh, I’m taking everything with a pinch of salt and will do my own troubleshooting when it arrives and see where we go from there.

Good luck, hopefully it's just a bad plug or coil Thumbs Up

Fingers crossed... I’m never that lucky though so am figuring I’m going to end up having to strip it and take the heads off it.

I’m clearing a space in the workshop, that way at least I’m prepared and if I do get lucky I’ll have a nice free space to park it in!

Is it 7 or 8 the miss is on by any chance, and is the valve saver pumped to each cylinder or dripped after the throttle butterfly.

Apparently if just dripped 7 and 8 are more likely to show signs of vsr, do you know how many miles on lpg?

I'm on 45000 now and no issues but have a slip stream of petrol after 2900 rpm

I’m not sure what cylinder the miss is on.

Apparently it’s had LPG on it for 10 years which would mean somewhere between 80 and 90k on LPG. It does have flashlube but I’ve got no idea how it’s plumbed in as I’ve not seen the car in person yet.

Does it log a fault you can check with iidtool? Mine on petrol and gas got a cylinder 5 fault intermittently but this began before I had the lpg fitted. Changed the plug and the coil problem solved it also has always had a bit of a dirty idle on startup despot (now) not having any vacuum or boost leaks and having new o2 / mafs . So I spent all my pennies on 7 more coils and plug and she seems good now - hopefully you will get lucky. I think I have five of the coils let if you want them for troubleshooting she drove fine in petrol and gas on them Current stable:

Thanks for the offer.

Once I’ve got the car home and have had a chance to properly look over it and do some more troubleshooting I’ll make a list of what I need. Will probably drop you a PM at that point.
