Hi all
Had situation where driver door would not shut....would literally have to hold it closed when driving round corners.
No amount of pressing the remotes or buttons in the car would sort it.
Now it is just permanently closed shut (whilst everything else opens/closes/locks as it should
Is there anyone else who had this and how was it resolved please?

Sorry to state the obvious but should have replaced the latch assembly whilst the door was open!

Now you will need to stand there with the remote and keep locking and unlocking until it gives in and unlocks... Do it with the window fully open and try slowly pulling the inner handle whilst unlocking it etc etc... If this fails to work then do a battery reset? Try the handle with the battery off? This may turn off the superlocks? As they are what stops you from opening the door from inside! Worse case, you will need to cut the striker bar off the car! Yep, it's as bad as it sounds!!!

Got the door open again fairly quickly by just locking/unlocking with fobs but now back to where it wont stay closed.
Even when everything else locks and alarms, the door isnt latched....looks shut but you can pull it open and alarm goes off.
Any suggestions what I should do now please?
Am tempted to disconnect battery and see if that clears it?

Have you tried lubing the mechanism. There used to be a bung on the 322 to squirt lube into near the lock mechanism. Wonder if it’s worth firing some lithium grease in there to see if it frees it up. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
