Replace entire aux heater?

My FBH doesn't work, fault code says the water pump of the fuel burning heater is defect. I see some offered on eBay for something like 150quid. If I buy one of those used units, do they include that pump, or is that a separate item? Does anyone have experience in having had this issue?

I also have a similar code on my 4.4.
B12A6-15 (2f)
Aux heater water pump- general electrical; failure - circuit short to battery or open.

My FBH sounds like it starts and can run several times over but never gets warm.

You can hear the pump running but I've not checked if it is pumping.
You can buy new pumps fairly cheap.

Yes it did.
I got a slightly different pump. Needed to swap the inlet/outlet part and the plug. (Not sure if i was sent wrong pump or ordered wrong but i just made it work)
But once fitted, fixed the issue.

Edit -
I originally thought it was the pump in the engine bay (you could hear this running) as i wasn’t aware fbh had its own.
But it was the pump attached to the FBH itself.

Is that the part I assume? Did you fit that to fix the same fault code?

No, I had another problem (combustion chamber death). I replace Webasto compleatly, install brand new. This pump is from old original factory Webasto.

Part nr 9017986a

This is my old Webasto, including the pump.

No, this is another pump, not belongs to Webasto. This pump is for increase coolant flow during idle rpm. Also when use AC MAX option when engine stop to pumping residual engine heat into the cabin.

Those two pumps are different. As I understood you need to change Webasto pump, then you need same as on my pictures.

JNC - can you clarify this as I’m now confused. Did you change the little pump bolted to the exterior of the FBH to cure your issue? Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Mine was the pump attached to the FBH.
