new air compressor

Hi all,
Am getting a new air compressor and was wondering if it needs to be coded into the system,
or is it plug and play.
Will be getting a new relay as well.
Beast is an old TD6.

TIA

Great, thought as much.

AS long as it pumps it up from the bump stops, as thats where its sitting at
the moment. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Hi guys n gals,

a) Sorry for the triple post, twas a mite peeved off and computer kept going back to my post instead of
going to the first page of the saga.

b) Went for a quick spin around the block as I read somewhere that that will reset suspension and yes it did.
Bow down Bow down Thumbs Up

Havent tried putting into access or raised yet, but the front seems to be a bit higher up than previously looking at it.

Measuring from centre of wheel to the body I get 510mm. Thats the front.
Didnt try the back as that looks OK.
Also the pump was still working when I turned it off as it had been running for a good 10 mins.

Is there anything else I need to do or is that it.

TIA

Before you start pulling any other bits off, run the car stationary, reset steering angle lock to lock and go round the block , not italian style. Then try to set car to all three heights, keep going up and down numerous times

After mine had been up in the air once, the fore and aft heights were different, operating the system a good few times sorted it out - may have just been lucky, but try this first, then you will have the full picture, so to speak.

I got physio at 0900 tomorrow so I,ll leave it till after that.
I,ve also got a 15 min hwy run, so I,ll see if it goes into hwy mode as well.

There,s a few places that I,ll be stopping at tomorrow so I,ll play around with it as well.

Thanks for the tips as well. Thumbs Up
