It's going into a second indie as first only did a regen then said "it's fixed". We said but they said it's fine. Avoid them.

Good luck with the latest Indy Rob, I hope they can get to the bottom of things. Incidentally, I sent Pat @ GAP an e-mail to try and get some details on what sensor on bank 1 should have what approximate temperature readings during a regeneration but the reply was inconclusive in that he reported that the IID tool only displays what it is given by the ECU 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE |

We are NOT seeing upwards of 600 as others do on Bank 1 Sensor 2 when it attempts a burn with high soot levels (over 20).

Currently at Henshall Engineering in Cheshire for diagnosis as it's still not working properly.

Rob, iirC in my case, Steve at T&S Norman monitored an internal engine temp sensor in order to discover that the engine was too cool to initiate and maintain regens.

We should know in the next couple of days the full diagnosis. They are methodically going through things step-by-step ....unlike the previous indie that looked at it and simply did a forced regen Future customer? Nope. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Just a question, do the glowplugs play any part in a dpf regeneration on your cars? |

From what I have read in the Workshop Manual, the glow plugs are not activated during any of the regeneration cycles. 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE |
