Well it's good to know that you should be able to get yours working ...I'll just have to wait untill someone figures out a way of doing the pre 2005.....keep us posted as to how you get on "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

I'm assuming a 2003 L322 can't be upgraded with paddles? |

If the D3 can be done then so can your 2003. I did a D3 already, but it was a very rough install, just for the kicks. Colin's will be awesome |

Hiya Daveo
Oh yea, i thought my last post up on that project before it got put on hold detailed that ![]() I have the full 05 on infotainment system up and running on the bench, 4x4 info, TV, playing DVD's to the rear headrests via the Rear Screen entertainment system, venture cam (which as you know was a bit troublesome), reversing Cam and everything. I even got to fit it with both earlier and later Bluetooth phone modules and try them out in the office. The only thing i now need to do is transplant it all into my 03 Range Rover while removing all the old BMW stuff. But sadly, other much higher commitments have unexpectedly popped up which i really do have to prioritize and which means it will now probably still be a few months more before i can now do that and finally complete the project, but i promise you it will definitely happen, as although my day to day business is providing diagnostic equipment, this is only a result of my heart and soul being in deeply understanding the Vehicle Technology in Land Rovers, modifying such and freely sharing details information and help that inspires and allows other to follow my lead ![]() prelove
Baben is quite right. My implementation on the D3 is not dependent on it having any pre installed paddle shift capability. In fact implementing paddle shifting is much easier than dealing with all the other steering wheel control capability, as we will be just fooling the Autobox ECU into thinking you moved the gear stick to make it change gear. I really have to finish work on the D3 implementation, after which i WILL turn to the L322 version. 2003 4.4 HSE |

OK so I bought the L322 license for my MSV2+, in the hope that editing the CCF would make the paddles that I bought from Nick work. Colin helped me figure out the wiring, I had to make up a little cable to connect the paddles and the switch pack, which was not very technical, and then I put it all together and held my breath..... |
