Help needed identifying cylinder ..

2003 V8 4.4 Petrol engine (BMW).

IId is showing injector fault on cylinder 5... Anyone know which identifies as cylinder 5 on the engine using the IID diagnostic tool ?

Looked through the user manual but not having any luck finding cylinder numbering/order.

Thanks for that, much appreciated.
My query was more regarding the Gap IID tool using the same identification/numbering of the cylinders as Range Rover/BMW.

I've third party diagnostics for BMW motorcycles and they use a different numbering sequence, i.e. they reference number ! cylinder as number 2, and that's on the flat twins, the multicylinders are also different between the manufacturers schematics and diagnostic companies

Never heard of them using anything other than the numbering specified by JLR...

Just pull a coil pack off one and see which cylinder goes into fault on the tool?

All done. Fuel rail and injectors removed and faulty injector replaced.

The LPG system wasn't as obstructive as i thought it would be.
