I have just been to the car after it’s been stood a while and when I opened the rear door a load of water came rushing out

the door needs 'bending' using a bit of 2x4 wood...there's a thread re this on the forum somewhere.. ... - .- -.

Found it titled "This shouldn't happen". Suggests using a piece of wood to prevent the bottom of the door closing whilst pushing inward at the top.

I wouldn't worry about causing any problems, the doors and hinges are remarkably strong. If anything you will be lucky to bend the door at all. |

Try this: get a ~1/2" length of black cable a couple of millimetres diameter (something like a bit of old headphone cable). Using a small amount of glue, glue it vertically across the bottom of door seal to hold a small section of seal away from the body to allow water to drain. Unobtrusive, and if it doesn't work then you can carefully peel it off. |

Just place the wood as far back as you can on the bottom of the door |
