What a hypocrite I hear you all shout and I totally agree, I hate dirty diesels and try to avoid them... BUT....

Apparently I can't live without cooled seats and laser cruise so had to buy another L322 as just about anything else is just not big enough for my 6ft5 frame to fold itself into....

I'd never driven a diesel but on hearing you lot banging on about how good they are I thought I better try one...

Found a place that had several to look at but they were all black and I didn't really want a black one, still it was a chance to look at a few and have a test drive...

Turned up to find they had just had this 2011 come in, it's a nice colour combo (IMHO) and is very well specced, Vogue SE with deployable steps, vision assist pack with blindspot, high beam assist, surround cameras etc RSE, locking rear diff. detachable tow bar,

Drives nice, very tidy paintwork, interior is excellent, matching Pirellis...

Did a deal on the price and taken as is...

Things that need attention....

Noise from front idler pully
Bouncy rear shocks

Has been valeted but needs a good detailing...

That looks very nice mate, and looks like wheels already been refurbed as I think they are a bit darker. Quite like them

The old diesel has more torque than the SC.

Got plenty of options there then.

You should have a separate fob for the FBH, with a massive range. When it’s warm weather it will just vent, ie blow the hot air inside out. When it’s a colder temp, it comes on itself to help warm the engine up. Being able to manually set it with the fob and dash screen menu are secondary uses really. Think I put a full manual for it in the Wiki.

You will soon get it fettled how you like it.
