Both fobs have had batteries. The clockspring and steering angle sensor I've not heard about in my research, nor the rear fibre optic cables. I shall ask about those.

It drove fine for a few miles, then on a roundabout where I'd expect the screens to go out, they didn't, but the car came up with the restricted performance light and went into limp mode instead. I limped home at 30mph.

Left it overnight and went to it this morning, no restricted warning light. I know it will come on again the next time there's a tight right-hand bend. And I know when plugged into the reader it will show many, many faults.

If you had a tool capable of reading and clearing fault codes you would be able to clear the codes yourself then check again as soon as the fault occurred.
The restricted performance fault should be easier to find which might help find the cause of the other faults.

Does the speed of driving the tight right bend make any difference? Wondering if the faults are due to turning the steering or the body leaning? If jacking both front wheels off the ground then turning the steering causes the fault then that would help enourmously.

I've had it in the indy as its done it but it throws up too many faults.

Maybe worth removing the footwell side panels to wriggle the wiring and connectors behind them. The panels are easy to remove.

The indy spent three weeks poking around everywhere, they were at the point of removing the dash.

As it is, I'm buying a Vito van this week ( I needed it for work anyway) to plug the gap between this car going and finding a 17/18 L405.
