Squeal from cold start only, goes away until next cold start

Squeal comes in 10-15 seconds during cold start at 1200RPM, then disappear once idled down, then d gone until next cold start. Seems to come from rear of engine.

L322 has 90,000 miles. Power steering pump & fluid are fine. Water pump done a couple weeks ago. Belts a year old (done with timing chain guide replacement).

Indy has cut and checked exhaust & catalytic converter on driver side as sound seems to present on that side, but nothing turned up. Wondering if coming from the transmission. Also wondering if a smoke test might show a leak that closes once the combustion heat has done it's thing to the steel...

If it's on that side, have you reached under and put your hand on the compressor tank to feel for any vibration? I wonder if it is something to do with the air suspension (there's valves behind the wheel arch).

The transmission is pretty central, as are the diffs. The transfer box is offset towards the left side, so less likely to be these.

I do agree though - very peculiar! 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

It could also be the torque converter or transmission fluid (if you know when it was last changed). 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Transmission and Diffs (both) done 6 months ago. Indy has looked at the starter and TC as well.

This squeal has been a mystery for a couple years. Don't get why it's so specific to a particular timeframe only during start from cold and then disappears until the next one... 2012 Supercharged L322
