Completely agree
I don’t think that pressure testing should be necessary. Unlike with (say) the earlier GM 5L40-E transmission, the 6HP valve blocks don’t have a reputation for wear & subsequent leakage. Just faulty solenoids and dampers! I recognise that the expense is mounting up, but clearly this process is still a lot less expensive and time consuming than having to take the transmission out and replace the torque converter Phil |
