Looks a tidy example.
My 06 was a march 06 car. Just sneaked into the low tax band.

Thanks Super Sloth not quite as tidy as it looks, I need to address the rust on the offside but easiliy the best car I've owned.

Following on from my previous post the error code P0420 has returned so connected my IIDtool which promptly failed to find the engine ECU, checked with my Icarsoft reader and all is well so I updated the IIDtool and rechecked only to get this constantly rotating screen on the app. Needless to say the ignition was on.

I have now contacted Gap to see what's going on.

Nice work on wiring up the new socket.

GAP are really excellent at support. My IID tool would read codes from the 5.0 but wouldn't display any of the live values. I pinged an email to GAP who sent me a firmware update for my tool which contained a new flash for the engine ECU. Once I'd applied it everything worked perfectly.

Hopefully they come back to you with a resolution quickly.

Been talking to Gap and need to plug it in to another RR to see if it works, if not then back to Gap but if it does work then I need to find another extension lead.

Further to my post on the eBay and Bargains section a nice big box arrived a few days later. Delivered to my door rather than just chucked over the fence!

Very difficult to tell the difference between these and the originals so very pleased with them especially as they were less than £100, bargain

Agree with both of you, I wonder if its because they are now new old stock and are therefore harder than when originally manufactured.

This drives me nuts!! It was one of the first purchases i made when i got my SC. But as mentioned by others previously it stayed in place about half a day. I've refitted it 4 times now and finally gave up and left it off, but every time i open the upper tailgate the naked button bothers me Confused 1988 Classic 3.5 EFI in Green - GONE.
