I have a set of wheels (from my L320 Sport) which have an elderly set of Yokohama 285/35/22. I know the PCD is OK, but not sure of the offset. When the weather warms up a bit I might have to swap a wheel to see how it looks.
The rolling diameter is almost identical so I don't think they'll look 'small wheel syndrome' but even though they're only 10mm wider, might get the 'Tonka Toy' look.
I recently changed from pirelli scorpion to Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, a complete game changer, better grip and quieter as well, thoroughly recommend.
I used the Michelins and bout the Pirellis a few weeks ago and I have given them 3k to get used to but changing back to Michelins absolutely superb ib Wet as well I run Goodyear Ultrgrip winters and they are another superb tyre
An all season tyre is not going to do as well in the wet as a summer tyre unless it's quite cold. If you can run 2 sets winter and summer there is no compromise.

The problem with UK winters is a proper winter tyre is still a compromise unless you live in the North/Scotland as it can be below freezing one day and in double figures a few days later. In my experience, winter tyres aren't great at 10c+, although that is on more performance orientated cars than a FF. I think a set of decent summer and all season tyres is the best way to go. That's what I've put on my wife's Golf R and I had on my 750i, but I have a winter set on the Porsche as it's the only option. The summers are back on now though and what a difference.....in a good way!
I ran Scorpion Zero All Seasons on my L405 and they were fine for the type of car it is.

It's the dry where summers excel at most temperatures
In the wet, an all season tyre should be better except when it's very warm
